Terms of use

Last updated: April 2026

By using CheckCraft you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Service description

CheckCraft is a free reference site and authoring tool for writing and printing US business checks. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

2. Accuracy of bank-specific information

Our per-bank check layout pages are illustrative. Routing numbers, account-number formats, and MICR positions shown in our previews are conventional examples and may not exactly match your bank's current product offerings. Always verify the specific routing and account numbers for your account using the printed check stock supplied by your bank or your bank's official website. CheckCraft assumes no liability for errors in bank-specific data.

3. No financial advice

Nothing on CheckCraft constitutes legal, tax, or financial advice. The guides and articles are intended for general educational purposes for US small businesses. Consult a licensed professional for advice specific to your situation.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use CheckCraft to attempt to defraud anyone, to forge checks, or to engage in any other unlawful activity. Using a printed check that misrepresents the routing or account numbers of an account you do not control is a federal crime in the United States.

5. Trademarks

Bank names and logos referenced on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. Their use here is purely descriptive — to identify the institution whose check layout is being discussed — and does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheckCraft and its operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

7. Changes

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
